Scroll down and tap Find My iPhone. Slide "Find My iPhone" to the "On" position. It will turn green. This feature enables you to find your iPhone's location using another device. Slide "Send Last Location" to the "On" position. Now your iPhone will send its location to Apple when the battery is critically low, just before it powers off.
Open Find My iPhone on another device. Do so by launching the app on a mobile device or going to iCloud in a web browser.
The app is only another way of accessing this service to locate your iPhone or other Apple devices. You can even share your location with others so they can track your whereabouts as you go about your day. If successful, you should be able to see its location on the map. The "Find My iPhone" app should have all of your devices on it if you're signed into it, including your iPad. If your phone is offline, it will lock immediately on power-up. Use the Apple ID and password with which you signed into your iPhone. It should appear in a list of devices below the map; it's location will be displayed on the map, which will zoom in when you select your iPhone. If the phone has been powered off, or the battery has died, it will show you the last known location of your phone, but will not be able to show you the current address.

You'll be able to see your phone's current location, as well as any changes in location. If your phone is offline, it will lock immediately on power-up. You'll receive an email notification and will be able to track your phone's position. It's in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Use this option if you're concerned that you may not recover your iPhone or that your personal information may be compromised. This action erases all the data on your iPhone, which also means that you'll no longer be able to use Find My iPhone to locate your device. Regularly back up your iPhone to iCloud or iTunes in case you ever need to restore erased data.

Your friend should tap Accept when prompted, and Share if they'd like to share their phone's location with you. Track the location of your iPhone. Using your friend's iPhone, you can track the location of your own iPhone when it's powered on and online; if your friend shared their location with you, you will also be able to track their iPhone in the Find My Friends app.

After all, it's not like you're working AT Google! This will work with ANY phones that have Google regardless if they're the same brand or type of phone or even computer. I was told by Apple; if this person is tracking you using the Find iPhone app, all you need to do is change your password, so I did. I went from the numerical 4 digit to the alphanumerical 9 digit; but I'm still skeptical. Not your lock screen password? Changing your lock screen password should have no effect on both of those apps. The only thing I can think of is turning it off. I Caught my boyfriend lying to me about his wheeabouts. After I confronted him he continued to deny it so I sent him a screenshot of where "Find my iPhone" tracked hm.
Apparently he didn't like that so instead of changing his credentials he just turned it off completely. Now when I log in, it says he's online but it can't find his location. Is there a way to hide the location services little arrow? Yes I also want to know how to hide that arrow or I want to find some app which can track location by wifi or another way not with location service.
I've just upgraded to the new version of the iPhone and the Find my Friend app downloaded automatically. When I opened it I already had a follower - a friend so no big deal. But how did he become a follower when there was no invite?
Can he now actually track me? I don't mean to necro this thread but reading a couple of these comments, lol. I beg to differ. My wife got a new job working for the local govt. Even SHE loves this app for just the 2 of us. If you are just looking at it as some "stalker" app, then maybe it's you so you might want to get your insecurities in check..
Are you actually telling me that you enjoy people knows your where abouts at all times? Even if you are i can imagine many people don't, and they would have no idea they are giving away their location just by having an iphone. Taking your extreme case as example, i can also provide you with evidence how criminals have far more success in tracking their targets, whether for raping, killing, stealing Then it struck me; can't this be used to effectively spy on someone? You r so stupid , every body knows that apps, i wanna track my boss.
I would have turned off the relationship completely. Did you figure out how to track him even if he turns off his location services??
